Skydiving festival in Nha Trang

The first ever international parachuting festival in Vietnam, the Skydive Boogie Nha Trang 2008, took place in the central coastal city of Nha Trang on March 1-6.

The festival drew 160 professional parachutists, who are members of the International Parachuting Commission, from Vietnam and another 15 countries world wide.

The week-long festival is co-organised by the provincial People’s Committee, the International Parachuting Commission and Vung Tau International Tourism Company.

It is one of initial activities aiming at helping Nha Trang become well-prepared for a large number of other cultural, sporting and tourism events scheduled to take place in 2008.

VietNamNet captures the event.
